Pancho & The Inca Poncho
Children's book made possible by a grant from
The City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance
A young boy moves to a new country and finds out he doesn't fit in. After a terrible first day at school, Pancho decides he wants to be like the other kids and gives up his culture in the process - but that night, his Grandma's Poncho transports him to the ancient INCA times to learn about his heritage with hope that he can truly learn and appreciate where he came from. Will the pressure to fit in be too much for Pancho or will he learn to take pride in his heritage?
